August @ StC
Worship, work days, and the welcoming of a baby. Classes, school supplies, service, and care.
All this and more went into who we are and what we did this month.
Welcome Lennon!
Our Fourth of July Celebration began on the Saturday with our Pet Food Distribution.
All were invited to share with us on the Sunday.
We began our Sunday with worship, and then we made our way to the Parish Hall.
There was food (of course), music, and professional photos for the pets that came.
What a wonderful day!
Oh – and we also did some work.
Each and every month we find ourselves amazed not only by how busy we’ve been, but by how much God has blessed us.
In June we welcomed sister and brother Alura and Orion into the Body of Christ through the sacrament of baptism.
Our Financial Growth meeting flowed with food, good company, and the blessings of God.
People & Pets weekend began with the Pet Food Distribution on June 17. A grateful recipient brought cookies in thanks for volunteers, such as Betty and Salima, who labored to deliver 1,724 pounds of pet food. 13-year-old Mya was just grateful for water, a cool floor, and a few treats.
The next day Sunday, it was time to worship – people and their pets together.
StC organist and pianist Josh Cessna performs on our new piano to the audience’s delight. We will be hosting more music events, so keep informed by signing up for our weekly newsletter. Click here: stctampacommunications@gmail.com
