Every October, St. Clement’s hosts its annual Blessing of the Animals Celebration.  Those attending seek to bring the spirit of St. Francis to life, to join in worship with their animals, and to see God in all His Creation.  Families attend. So do animal rescues, bringing candidates for pet adoption.  There is a picnic for all.

Dogs, cats, birds, pet skunks, gerbils, horses, geese, bearded dragons, lizards, and more – all are welcome.  Each receives a blessing and a St. Francis medal.

St. Clement’s will host its 36th Annual Blessing of the Animals Celebration on October 7, 2023.
