The Journey Begins
We wave palms and shout “Hosanna!” but by the end of the service, the mood shifts. This day invites us to walk the path from celebration to sorrow — a foretaste of the week to come. Come ready to enter the story of Jesus’ final days.
✨ Holy Monday
Love Poured Out
As Jesus dines with dear friends, Mary kneels and anoints his feet with costly perfume — an act of extravagant love. Judas objects. But Jesus receives her gift, recognizing it for what it is: devotion, grief, and preparation for what lies ahead.
On this Holy Monday, we pause to consider: What does it mean to love Jesus deeply, even when others don’t understand?
Words That Challenge
Jesus teaches in the temple, facing both admiration and resistance. His words cut through pretense and call us back to what matters most. Take a moment to listen, pray, and consider what Jesus is still saying today.
When Love Is Betrayed
This is the day Judas makes his fateful deal. It’s a solemn pause in the week — a chance to consider the ways we too may betray trust, or fail to love as we should. Yet even here, God’s grace is still moving.
The Night Before
Jesus shares a final meal with his friends, kneels to wash their feet, and gives a new commandment: “Love one another.” This tender, powerful service includes foot washing and the stripping of the altar. It ends in silence — and in sorrow.
The Cross and the Silence
We come to the foot of the Cross — not to rush past it, but to sit in its shadow. This is a service of stark beauty, solemn prayers, and the reading of the Passion. There is no Eucharist. Only silence, awe, and the ache of love poured out.
Light in the Darkness
This ancient service begins in darkness and ends in blazing light. We kindle the new fire, tell the great stories of salvation, and proclaim, “Alleluia! Christ is risen!” If you’ve never attended the Vigil before, come experience the mystery and wonder.
He Is Risen!
